Sometimes being in business is uncomfortable.

You have to put Your face and Your name out there.

It can feel like your business almost represents your worth as a person. If you aren’t getting hired it can feel like you’re not worthy of being hired.

This is where so much of our discomfort comes from: You want to align your business with your inner worth, but you don’t always feel worthy.

We find ourselves wondering:

  • “Am I pricing my products or services correctly?”
  • “Why am I getting traffic but not converting sales?”
  • “Are my competitors making more money?
  • “Maybe I should get another certification/degree so I can charge more.”

All of those doubts are doubts about our worth. I’d like to remind you why absolutely none of these are true.

When we feel confident about who we are inside, and find a way to show that on the outside, everyone notices.

The first thing you need to know is: YOU Are Worth It!

If you feel like you are undercharging, what is a rate that would bring peace to your life? Don’t be afraid to admit it, even if it seems high for your industry.

When you wake up every day with purpose and the goal of helping other people, that makes you worthy in its own right. Now your focus should be solely on communicating that value to your future clients.

Ignore what your competitors are charging. If your price point feels right in your heart, and you can show that you truly benefit your client’s lives, you will attract the people who want to hire You no matter your price.

A surprising business fact is that sometimes when you charge higher than your competitors, you are seen as more valuable. Think of the difference when you think of a Ford compared to a Ferrari. They’re both cars, and they both get you from one place to another, but one is more valuable.

You have to bring out your inner Ferrari. Ferrari doesn’t worry about their pricing, because they know they are worth the price.

One great secret to aligning your brand to your inner worth is that not enough business owners communicate the benefits they give instead of the actual thing they do.

Pull up your sales page and read through it.

Do you break down what your customers get from hiring you or the benefits they receive?

If you’re a coach, do you talk about x amount of calls, business blueprints, workbooks, etc., or do you talk about how you make their lives better?

No one hires just a coach; they hire someone to finally help them decode the business world. No one hires just a personal trainer, they hire someone who can hold them accountable and knows what to do.

There is nothing wrong with you; all you need is just to communicate your worth in a new way.
